December 11, 2012 - Minimum Wage Ordinance for the City of San Jose
The Minimum Wage Ordinance was passed by City of San Jose voters on November 6, 2012. It requires employers to pay their employees a minimum wage of $10.00 per hour for work performed within the City of San Jose and requires the minimum wage to increase annually by the cost of living, if any, beginning on January 1, 2014.
The ordinance is scheduled to go into effect on March 11, 2013.
